Contribute to the community and the environment: help plant trees, restore irrigation basins and pick up litter. Get information on trees maintenance from Davey Tree Experts, West Coast Arborists and SDG&E's Vegetation Management Department.

Displays and booths will be set up near the lower parking lot. Volunteer registration begins at 8:30 a.m.  Complete a volunteer application in advance and bring to the registration table.

Tools will be provided; however, participants are encouraged to bring work gloves, hats and shovels, if possible. Participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes. Children age 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

In the case of heavy rain, the event will be cancelled.

For the past several years, Carlsbad has been recognized as a "Tree City USA" by the National Arbor Day Foundation
