Displays and booths will be set up near the upper parking lot.  Volunteer registration begins at 8 a.m.  Complete a volunteer application in advance and bring to the registration table.

Tools will be provided; however participants are encouraged to bring work gloves, hats and shovels, if possible.  Participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes.  Children age 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

In the case of heavy rain, the event will be cancelled.

For the past several years, Carlsbad has been recognized as a "Tree City USA" by the National Arbor Day Foundation
