Carlsbad's roadway network is essential to both residents and visitors and the Traffic Division makes sure that the roadways are working efficiently and safely for all users including pedestrians, bicyclists and motor vehicles. 

The Street Maintenance Department maintains and repairs roadway, street lights, signalized intersections and all sidewalks.
